The cops are yet to find out a major mystery in the singer D4vd case as the date of Celeste Rivas Hernandez's death remains unknown. The police found the decomposed body on September 8 in the trunk of D4vd's Tesla and took weeks to identify the teen. It's evident that Celeste died before September 8 but it's not yet known how long before she had died.
D4vd's manager Josh Marshall has come under fire as social media users claim that Marshall must be in the know of the things. Marshall's company Mogul Vision, reportedly managed D4vd and the Los Angeles rental which was searched by the police was taken in Marshall's name.
"As D4vd’s manager, you know everything about his life, you literally manage it. How is it that you haven’t spoken up? This girl has been around him since she was 12 or 13 years old. Police found her over a year ago at a Hollywood Hills house with him. You knew about that. You knew she was a missing person. You knew she was underage. Now she’s dead. Why did you allow a missing child, very underage at that, to be harbored by your client in a house leased to you?" a social media user wrote, slamming Marshall.
The owner of the house claimed that he had no idea that D4vd was living at the property. “This all came as a complete shock to me. I only found out about the police activity this morning,” Trifunovic tells Rolling Stone. “Until then, I had no idea anything had happened at the house or what was going on with D4vd and the missing girl. I never knew D4vd, and I wasn’t aware that he had ever lived in the house.”
D4vd's 'Romantic Homicide' song gains attention
Celeste Rivas went missing in 2024 and her mother confirmed that her boyfriend's name was David. Cops have not yet confirmed any link between the dead teen and the 20-year-old musician but keen social media users found several photos and videos apparently of the couple. Many claimed that Celeste was staying with D4vd after fleeing home.
D4vd's song called 'Romantic Homicide' released in 2022 gained attention in the wake of the Celeste Rivas case. “In the back of my mind / I killed you / And I didn’t even regret it. I can’t believe I said it / But it’s true / I hate you," the lyrics included.
