US president Donald Trump appeared to snub actress Cheryl Hines, wife of Robert Kennedy Jr, the current Health and Human Services Secretary, at the UFC 314 fights in Miami on Saturday
Hines was seen standing beside her husband, waiting to greet the president with an extended hand. However, as Trump made his way into the venue, he shook Kennedy’s hand warmly but bypassed Hines entirely.
The moment, captured on camera, showed Hines waving her hand in the air and giving a slightly frustrated look. Trump, seemingly oblivious, continued on to greet UFC host Joe Rogan, while Kennedy, unfazed by the snub, chuckled at the situation.

Hines then appeared to pat Trump on the shoulder as he passed by, before she turned to warmly greet president Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, who was attending the event as well.
Hines was outspoken in her opposition to Trump’s candidacy. When her husband, Robert Kennedy Jr, endorsed him during the 2024 presidential election, she made it clear that she supported her husband, not Trump. Interestingly, after the election, she was seen fitting in at Mar-a-Lago, engaging with Trump’s supporters.
