A Kanpur man enraged after finding his wife in bed with a neighbour attempted to chew the latter's genitals, forcing the bleeding lover to dash to cops for help before he was rushed to hospital.
The bizarre turn of events unfolded late Thursday in Babupurwa area of Uttar Pradesh. The husband left his rented home informing his wife that he was headed out of town for work and would be back Friday.
However, he unexpectedly returned late Thursday, only to find his neighbour in a compromising position with his wife.
Seething with rage, he charged at the fleeing lover, grabbed his private parts, sunk his teeth and tried to chew them, police said. After he rushed to police station, the injured paramour was taken to hospital, where doctors have described his condition as stable.
The attack drew lot of attention, with neighbours gathering around the couple's home till the cops arrived and shooed them away. "So far, no complaint has been filed by either party. Further action will be taken only after an FIR is filed," Babupurwa inspector Arun Dwivedi said.
Police have counselled both sides to keep calm and solve their disputes through legal channels.
