Send Push
If you're diving into the world of RuneScape Dragonwilds and building out your dream base, you're probably experimenting with furniture layouts too. Maybe that bed is in the wrong corner, or your torch is casting a weird shadow. Good news — you don’t have to destroy and rebuild everything just to fix it. You can pick up and move furniture easily — you just need to know how.

Here’s a quick and simple guide to help you pick up your furniture in Dragonwilds like a pro.
Why You Might Need to Move FurnitureAs you expand your base, repositioning furniture becomes super useful. Maybe you’ve unlocked new crafting stations, or you just want to change the layout for a better workflow. Whatever the reason, Dragonwilds makes it pretty easy, as long as you know what to do.

Step-by-Step: How to Pick Up Furniture in RuneScape Dragonwilds? Here are all the steps to help you pick up and move furniture in Dragonwilds without breaking a sweat:
Step 1: Get Close to the FurnitureOnce you're at your base, walk over to the furniture you want to move. You don’t need to be perfectly aligned, but standing nearby will trigger interaction options when you open the right menu. You can only pick up furniture inside your own base, not in towns or any other public zones.

Step 2: Open the Build MenuPress B on your keyboard (unless you’ve changed your keybinds). This brings up the build interface, showing all placeable items and available structures.
Step 3: Interact with the FurnitureHover over the furniture you want to move, then press and hold F to bring up the interaction options.
Step 4: Select "Pick Up"In the interaction menu, select the “Pick Up” option. Boom! The furniture is now removed from your base.
Where Does the Picked-Up Furniture Go?Two possibilities:
  • If your inventory has space, the item goes straight into it.
  • If your inventory is full, it’ll be sent to your Storage Box instead. You can access it from your base and grab the furniture whenever you’re ready to place it again.
Don’t Confuse It With DeletingPicking up furniture is not the same as dismantling it. Picking up keeps the item fully intact so you can reuse it later. Deleting, on the other hand, destroys the item and may return only a portion of the crafting materials. So unless you’re scrapping something for parts, always choose “Pick Up.”
