Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur is set to return to the big screen with ‘Metro...In Dino’, a spiritual sequel to the 2007 hit ‘Life in a... Metro’, nearly two years after his last appearance in 2023's ‘Gumraah’. The excitement for the film intensified on Wednesday, May 28, as the makers unveiled its first song, "Zamaana Lage," at a grand launch event in Mumbai.
Pritam confirms singing debut
During the event, renowned music composer Pritam, who is behind all the tracks in ‘Metro...In Dino’, made a significant announcement: Aditya Roy Kapur has officially made his singing debut in the movie. "We have seen in the West that the stars in musicals sing their own songs and in this too, the musicals in Adi's voice are his own and he is sounding amazing," Pritam stated, commending Kapur's vocal performance.
It was also revealed that the film's soundtrack will be extensive, featuring almost 10 to 12 tracks, promising a rich musical experience for the audience.

He further highlighted the integral role of music in the narrative, adding, "The songs always help take the story forward, and I’m looking forward to hearing all ten. I haven’t heard all of them yet, but I’m sure they’re going to be amazing."

‘Metro...In Dino’ boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
