The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad ( UPMSP ) has officially announced the Class 12th (Intermediate) Board Examination results for the year 2025. The results were released today on the board’s official website, bringing an end to the anxious wait for over 25 lakh students across the state who had appeared for the exams. The pass percentage of the UPMSP Class 12th result 2025 is 85.1%.
The exams were conducted earlier this year under strict invigilation norms to ensure transparency. This year’s evaluation process saw faster completion, enabling an early declaration of results.
The overall pass percentage for the UP Board Class 12th examinations in 2025 stands at 81.15%. A total of 25,18,576 candidates from 85,984 institutions registered for the examination, out of which 25,98,560 students appeared.
The Class 12th practical examinations were conducted in two phases, from February 1 to February 21, 2025, during which 18,964 exam centers facilitated the process. Moreover, exams in financial subjects saw participation from 74,982 students.
Mahak Jaiswal emerges as UP topper
Topping the state this year is Mahak Jaiswal from Prayagraj, who secured a remarkable 97.20% marks. A student of Bachchha Ram Yadav Inter College, Bhulai Ka Pura, Prayagraj, Mahak clinched the first rank with her outstanding performance across all subjects. Her roll number is 2256443376.
Five students tie for second rank at 96.80%
In a rare occurrence, five students shared the second position, each scoring 96.80%. The toppers include:
Mohini takes third rank
Securing the third position is Mohini, with 96.40% marks. A student of CH S Singh Inter College, Jaswant Nagar, Etawah, Mohini's roll number is 2256145514. Her disciplined preparation and strong subject grasp have earned her a distinguished spot among the state’s best performers.
Girls shine in the top ranks
This year’s merit list has once again highlighted the academic excellence of female students, with six out of the seven top rankers being girls. Furthermore, in class 12th 86.37% of girls and 76.60% of boys have been declared successful. The trend continues from previous years, reflecting a positive shift in gender parity in education across Uttar Pradesh.

Following the result announcement, students can now download their marksheets from the official UPMSP website. Physical marksheets will soon be dispatched to respective schools. Those unsatisfied with their scores can apply for scrutiny as per the board’s upcoming notification.
