Brits will enjoy warm weather once again with another heading for the UK next week. According to UK by WXCharts, parts of the UK will reach a maximum of 21C on May 11 at midday.
Merseyside and Cheshire will be the hottest places in the UK on Sunday, May 11, with temperatures set to reach 21C, while London will closely follow with a sunny 20C. The whole of England will feel the heat, ranging from a balmy 17C to 19C, with slightly cooler temperatures felt at the coast, dipping to 15C in parts of the southwest. England will enjoy the hottest weather, although Scotland could reach 19C, and Wales and Northern Ireland could peak at 17C and 16C respectively.
Like the rest of Wales, Cardiff has been forecast a pleasant 16C-17C, while Scotland will vary quite significantly in the north and south.
Northern areas including Aberdeen will feel slightly chillier at 11C, with the very tip of set to dip to single figures, although Glasgow, Edinburgh and the regions south of these cities could reach 18C.
Northern Ireland will remain quite steady at 15-16C in most regions, although the northern coast will have a colder edge.
The Met Office long range forecast from May 9 to May 18 predicts temperatures are likely to be "slightly above normal for the time of year, although there is a chance of some cold nights".
It said: "Dry across the UK at the start of this period with clear or sunny spells for the majority of places."
It predicts outbreaks of rain in the far north and northwest, and a small risk of some heavy showers in the far south or southwest.
During the second week, high pressure will bring predominantly fine and dry weather for the majority of places, with a few light showers, according to the weather agency.
