A serious fire has broken out in an office building of Canary Wharf, Lonon. Grey smoke can be seen billowing out of the rooftop clouding the cityscape skyline.
The Express understands the entire building has been evacuated as at least eight fire engines parked outside. In dramatic scenes, office workers could be seen filling the pavements below as sirens rang out.
Firefighters could be seen bravely scaling the building to reach the blaze in an attempt to extinguish all flames before more terrifying damage was done.
While emergency services took on the fire several storeys high, site security locked down the area at street level, blocking all pedestrians from getting anywhere near the tower block.
