Beyond Paradise season 3 episode 3 cast as Poldark and Call the Midwife stars join series

Beyond Paradise is back on BBC One and the new season three episode sees three customers poisoned after sampling confectionary at a chocolate shop. DI Humphrey Goodman (played by Kris Marshall) is left to find out whether the chocolatier was framed or whether she was responsible for the attack.

As the team finds no trace of poison in the remaining chocolates, they are left to ponder how the perpetrator ensured the victims ate the right one. As panic starts to spread amongst the public, the team must act quickly to uncover the truth.

All of the main stars will be returning for the third episode, including Sally Bretton as Martha Lloyd, who is still having trouble getting to know her foster child, Rosie (Bella Rei Blue Stevenson).

DS Esther Williams (Zahra Ahmadi) and Archie Hughes (Jamie Bamber) are still exploring the possibility of a romantic relationship. Zoe Williams (Melina Sinadinou) continues to support Anne Lloyd (Barbara Flynn) through her health scare.

Reverend Kate - Chizzy Akudolu

Chizzy Akudolu is a 51-year-old British actress and comedian who made her first TV appearance in 15 Storeys High.

Her career has been heavily focused on children's TV, but she has taken on roles in Holby City and Kate and Koji.

She was married to Henry Anang, a computer engineer, until 2000.

Kenny Pluckley - Brandon Fellows

Brandon Fellows is a 30-year-old English actor who is known for playing Callum in Raised by Wolves.

He may also be recognised as Mike Tripp in The Stranger and Charlie in Dead Hot.

The star has taken on small roles in Doctors, Upstart Crow and Casualty.

Gabriella Dalmori - Alicia Charles

Alicia Charles is an English actress who has starred in long-running shows such as Holby City, Casualty, Father Brown and Doctors.

In 2023 she took on a lead role as Hazel in Phoenix Rise, for all four seasons.

She began her career in Coronation Street after leaving school.

Sherie Howard - Holly Atkins

Holly Atkins is a 52-year-old actress known for her stage roles, but she has been in a number of hit TV shows.

Her credits include This Country, Call the Midwife, Wallander and Residents.

Martin Gaffney - Matthew Gravelle

Matthew Gravelle is a 48-year-old Welsh actor known for his roles in Holby City, Torchwood and Belonging.

He went on to play the lead character of gangster Lyn Edwards in the Welsh-language television series Y Pris.

The star is married to Welsh actress Mali Harries and they have played each other's on-screen significant other in several TV shows.

Dr Lionel Jennings - Abdul Salis

Abdul Salis is a 45-year-old British actor known for playing paramedic Curtis Cooper on Casualty.

His other TV credits include Doctor Who, Father Brown, Hard Cell and The Wheel of Time.

Lizzie Dyer - Bebe Sanders

Bebe Sanders trained at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

She made her TV debut in Doctors and has starred in the TV movie, The Best of Men.

Dr Hodges - Syreeta Kumar

Syreeta Kumar is a British actress who has starred in Coronation Street as DC Leslie, investigating the blaze at the Rovers which killed firefighter Toni Griffiths.

Recently she has starred in DI Ray, Fool Me Once and Doctors. Her film credits include Notes on a Scandal and I Came By.

Monica Grey - Lauren Vandike

Lauren Vandike made her TV debut in the series Poldark as Beth Daniel.

She went on to play numerous characters in Rosamunde Pilcher.

Beyond Paradise airs on BBC One on Fridays at 8pm
