BBC fans all say same thing minutes into Eurovision 2025 semi-final as they 'get chills'

2025 kicked off the first semi-final of the competition on Tuesday evening (May 13) in Basel, Switzerland, where some of this year's most popular contestants will be vying for a place in the Grand Final.

However, within minutes of the show starting, BBC One viewers were instantly blown away by the opening performance.

Taking to X, one person wrote: "I have chills okaaaaayyyyyy #Eurovision."

A second stated: "Horns. Mountains. Yodelling. Then into The Code. This is so Swiss and camp I'm absolutely here for every second. #Eurovision.

While a third chimed in: "Mega opening." Another added: "Alright let's see if this years #Eurovision is better than last year's- the opening act is pretty cool so far."
