The Surrey Police Service (SPS) said it received a call from an establishment at 1:50 a.m. local time on Thursday, although the establishment was not named. Police said they received a report of a shooting at an establishment in the 8400 block of 120th Street at 1:50 a.m. on July 10.
Police said, "Upon reaching the scene, it was found that bullets were fired towards the establishment, causing property damage. Employees were present inside at the time of the incident." SPS said that no one was injured in the incident. The cafe was open in Surrey, British Columbia on July 4.
The management has also thanked the police for their quick response and for 'ensuring everyone's safety in this time of crisis'. Kapil Sharma has not commented on the incident.
