If you spend longer than you'd like to admit agonising over outfits, you might appreciate a "simple" tip that fashion enthusiasts believe "people should know about". This hack is perfect for anyone who often says 'I don't have anything to wear' or wants to reduce the time they spend planning their looks.
The popular tip went viralwhen singer Meg DeAngelis shared a TikTok video offering fashion advice. Posting on TikTok as @megandeangelis, Meg told her 1.5 million followers: "Somebody taught me a trick.
"To this day, I use it almost every single morning, and I swear my life and my outfits are so much better, and I just feel like more people should know about this."

She continued: "If you're the type of person where you have a lot of clothes and you know you've technically bought stuff you like and cute stuff, but when you're getting ready in the morning you're standing in front of your closet and you genuinely feel like you have nothing to wear, this is what fixed it for me. It's literally so easy.
"You pick something from your closet, and all you do is you copy. Go to your clothing orders, like in your email, so where you've ordered clothes from, and go to the picture of the item you bought and copy it."
As Meg suggested, the tip might be especially helpful if you loved something online but you're struggling to style it now. Simply take inspiration from the promotional outfits, designed by professional stylists.
Sometimes you can use the tip for secondhand clothing items, too. Meg suggests searching for the brand name and keywords related to the item to see how it was styled.
Her video impressed social media users. The post racked up over 100,000 views and 10,000 likes, reports Belfast Live.
Someone replied: "Thank you! That's a great idea." A second response said: "Honestly yess bc sometimes after I buy something I be searching it up or looking at the review pictures waiting for it to come in but when I have it it sits there waiting to get styled and worn but now I should revisit the review pictures bc they're the whole reason I got it in the first place."

A thid fan thought: "Oh this is sooooo smart." A different comment read: "I check the review pictures. The baddies know what they're doing!"
Others shared their own styling suggestions. For example, a viewer shared: "I just organize my closet by events and put things next to eachother that go together like my jeans are paired next to the tops they best go with."
A different reply said: "I make pinterest board of my outfits and I go through them every day to pick an cute outfit."
Someone shared: "If you take a picture of it and Google back search it you might find multiple styling options too! (Depending on the piece of clothing)." Another response added: "I feel like nobody uses Pinterest anymore but I always use it for this!!!"
