The White Lotus season three may have just wrapped up, but actress Aimee Lou Wood is already gearing up for another significant project.
HBO and Sky viewers were smitten with Aimee Lou Wood's free-spirited yoga instructor Chelsea in the third season as she navigated her relationship with her grumpy older beau Rick, portrayed by Walton Goggins.
Lou Wood was already a familiar face to subscribers, having played Aimee Gibbs in the comedy-drama Sex Education, a role that earned her a Rising Star BAFTA award.

Now, it has been revealed that the 31-year-old will be starring opposite Oscar winner in the forthcoming film Anxious People.
The film is an adaptation of Fredrik Backman's novel A Man Called Ove, with Oscar-nominated screenwriter David Magee, known for Life of Pi and Finding Neverland, penning the screenplay.

The synopsis for Anxious People reads: "On the day before Eve, investment banker Zara (Jolie) reluctantly finds herself socialising with a group of strangers at an open house.
"When a hesitant bank robber, Grace (Wood), unintentionally takes the group hostage, chaos and oversharing ensue, secrets are unveiled and absolutely nothing goes according to plan.
"It's a film about a crime that never happened, a would-be bank robber who vanishes without a trace, and eight extremely anxious strangers who discover they have more in common than they ever thought possible."
Although Wood is primarily recognised for her television roles, this isn't her first venture into film. She previously shared the screen with Bill Nighy in Living and starred opposite Benedict Cumberbatch in The Electrical Life of Louis Wain.
According to her IMDb page, she's also involved in a forthcoming project titled The Idiots.
She'll be sharing the spotlight with Johnny Flynn from Emma in this drama.
The plot summary reveals: "The story of the courageous woman who saved the life of literary icon Fyodor Dostoevsky and, as the first woman to found her own publishing house, became a pioneer in the country's literary history."
The White Lotus is available to watch on Sky and NOW in the UK and HBO and Max in the US.
