Manchester United's transfer business has firmly stalled with Matheus Cunha still their only major summer signing after he joined from Wolves for just over £60million earlier in the summer.
Their attention is now on Bryan Mbeumo, who has excelled for Brentford, but they've seen two bids for the forward rejected and are yet to return with a third bid. The player himself wants the move but the Bees have not eased off their valuation.
Ruben Amorim also has a number of players whom he needs to either back or more on. The likes of Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho all headed out on loan last term but are back at Old Trafford despite not appearing to be part of the plan.
Alejandro Garnacho is another man who could be on his way out as the club look to bolster their funds with a No 9 thought to be on their shopping list. A dire Premier League underlined the need to change the look of the squad and here's the latest news coming out of Manchester.
Mbeumo's latest hintMbeumo has liked Leny Yoro's Instagram post after he confirmed his return to United training in what is the latest hint that he's keen on making the switch.

The Cameroonian has made no secret of his desire to move on and take up the opportunity at the Premier League giants, who are trying to land more firepower in a bid to get them back up the table. His latest move on Instagram has appeared to underline his motivation to move on.
He liked Yoro's post despite the pair having no prior involvement as team-mates. The Frenchman put up a post that read: "ReUnited" alongside an image of him going through his paces and Mbeumo was among those to like the post, along with current Old Trafford stars Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot.

United's summer business is being aided by the millions they are receiving from sell-on fees they previously included in deals with Alvaro Carreras - who never played a game for the club - due to bank them more than £7m.
Newcastle have just signed Antony Elanga from Nottingham Forest, which has cost the Magpies £55m. As per the clauses inserted in the deal that took Elanga from Manchester to Nottingham, United will land 15 percent of profit on any deal. Given he moved for £55m, United are said to have picked up around £6m of the fee, reports The Telegraph.
Former United left back Carreras is set to land them even more cash as he is on the verge of leaving Benfica to join Real Madrid for around £43m after an impressive year in Lisbon. He moved to Portugal 12 months ago for around £7m, which means Benfica will pocket around £36m of profit. 20 percent of that - £7.2m - will go to United and further bolster their summer budget.
Juventus have agreed a £17.3m deal with United for Jadon Sancho as the player looks for a way out of Old Trafford following Chelsea's decision to send him back after his loan move.
According to La Stampa the Red Devils were holding out for closer to £25m for the former Borussia Dortmund man, who cost them £70m back in 2021, but have decided to ease on their demands in a bid to get the flop out the door.
Sancho refused to budge on his £350,000-a-week wage when Chelsea considered signing him, meaning they pulled out of a deal as they refused to pay that much. His salary could still prove a major sticking point when it comes to negotiations with Juventus.
