Everton have announced their new ground will be called the Hill Dickinson Stadium. The Toffees will leave Goodison Park at the end of the season to move to a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.
The new ground will be sponsored by Hill Dickinson, a commercial law firm founded in 1910. Everton will play their final game at Goodison Park on Sunday, with the Premier League's rock bottom side to be the visitors.
Goodison Park had been the Toffees' home since 1892, hosting more top-flight games than any other stadium in England. But in a bid to bring in more revenue, the decision was made to move to a new state-of-the-art facility in Liverpool's docklands.
That move will take place over the summer, with the first official game at the new stadium to be held in August. Hill Dickinson have now inked an agreement to be the first naming rights sponsor of the new ground, a deal welcomed by CEO Angus Kinnear.
He said: “Welcoming Hill Dickinson as our naming rights partner is a bold and strategic step forward. This partnership goes beyond branding — it’s a shared commitment to progress, excellence and the regeneration of our city.
