BBC Gladiator star Dynamita has issued a three-word response as her co-star has been forced to withdraw from the competition just hours before the final.

There has been a major shake-up to the lineup for tonight as Zavia Hill unfortunately picked up an injury and will not be able to compete.

During her semi-final Zavia made it through to the final after an impressive performance but she took a heavy hit during Powerball.

Despite the injury, she pushed through and continued to compete in the remaining events, including the Eliminator. However, due to her injury, Zavia has had to pull out of the competition.

As a result, the fastest female runner-up from the semi-finals, Aneila Afsar, will take her place alongside fellow finalist Amanda Wah.

Ahead of the final, Dynamita, who's real name is Emily Steel, and her fellow finalist appeared on Friday’s (11th April) episode of 's The One Shoe alongside hosts Clara Amfo and Gabby Logan.

It didn’t take long for Gabby to point out the sudden change to the final line-up as she said: “There has been a bit of drama with the female finalist because Zavia has had to withdraw because of injuries and Nilah has gone in as the fastest runner up, which just goes to prove once again that this competition is not for the faint-hearted.”

Dynamita issued a three-word response to the sudden change as she admitted: “It is tough.” The star continued: “Us girls don’t hold back, we hit hard and we are ruthless sometimes as well, if you catch us on a bad day.”

The 21-year-old added: “All the contenders are just at a completely different level this year because they came in wanting to smash it, wanting to win. Every single one of them has done absolutely amazing.”

After weeks of fierce competition, two Gladiator contenders will be crowned the winners of the second series. Aneila Afsar and Amanda Wah will compete to be the female champion and Mus Dumbuya and Joe Fishburn will compete to be the male champion. We’ll see them tackle five tough events before racing on the Eliminator.

It comes as it was recently announced that Gladiators is set to go on tour. A live version of the hit game show will be staged at arenas.
