You can make tikkis by removing the bitterness of bitter gourd. These tikkis are healthy as well as very tasty to eat. So let's know the easy recipe to make bitter gourd tikki.

Ingredients

Bitter gourd – 2 large

Paneer (grated) – 1/2 cup

Onion – 1

Green chilli – 2

Ginger – 1 inch

Garlic – 4 cloves

Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup

Gram flour – 1 cup

Amchur powder/Chaat masala – 1 tsp

Chilli powder – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp

Celery – 1/2 tsp

Salt – as per taste

Oil – for frying

Method of making bitter gourd tikki

Prepare bitter gourd: First of all wash the bitter gourd thoroughly and grate the outer part. Put the grated bitter gourd in a mixer grinder and grind it coarsely. After this, add 1 tsp salt to this mixture and keep it for 30 minutes.

Prepare ingredients: Now finely chop onion, green chilli, ginger, garlic and coriander leaves and keep it in a bowl.

Drain the water from the bitter gourd: After 30 minutes, squeeze out the water from the bitter gourd mixture and put it in a bowl and mix.

Prepare the mixture: After this, add grated paneer, chili powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala or dry mango powder to this mixture. Add celery and gram flour and mix. Finally, add salt as per taste and mix everything well.

Make and fry the tikki: Now take small pieces from the prepared mixture and give them the shape of round tikki. Fry the prepared tikkis on medium flame till they become golden brown.

Serve: Serve the bitter gourd tikki hot with green chutney and enjoy.
