Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In response to memorandum given by members of Sakal Hindu Samaj to chief minister Mohan Yadav demanding an investigation into the role of fish trader Mohammed Shariq aka Shariq Machhli into rape and blackmailing case, the trader on Monday issued a video denying his involvement.
In the video, Shariq claimed that he was being targeted by some persons as he had taken out a rally in support of Waqf Bill.
Without naming his opponents, Shariq said they were spreading rumours against him. “I have neither taken the contract of Hathaikheda Dam nor the lease of land on which Club 90 was constructed.
It belongs to other people but my name was spread in the case to implicate me in a fake case” he claimed.
He added, “I even do not know Farhan or the other accused involved in the case. I have given a complaint against such social media groups and reports to Bilkhiriya police and senior police officials.”
