Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The preparations to invite commissioner, Metro rail safety, have begun. He is expected to visit by month end or in September.
The Metro officials are preparing documents for final inspection of Metro project. According to Metro project officials, the commissioner’s major concern is public safety.
The documents that run through about 800 pages focus on public safety. Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation managing director S Krishna Chaitanya is conducting regular inspection of remaining Metro works.

It had run Metro train at its maximum speed of 90 kilometres per hour to check whether there is oscillation in train.
Metro train will run between eight stations and work of three stations is still unfinished, MP Metro Rail Corporation sources said.
On July 27, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav took part in a trial run of the Bhopal Metro train, travelling from Subash Nagar station to AIIMS, and later continuing till Rani Kamlapati Railway Station.
Calling the experience “pleasant,” he said the government is committed to gifting Metro to people of Bhopal at the earliest, with a targeted launch in October.
