Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday said that Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev sent a clear message to terror masterminds of the consequences of playing with Indian citizens' lives.
He also met and honoured personnel of the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF who successfully carried out Operation Mahadev and neutralised the terrorists behind the Pahalgam attack.
Shah noted that the Pahalgam attack was an unsuccessful attempt to derail the “Kashmir Mission” at a time when tourism was at its peak in the Valley.
“Operation Sindoor gave people satisfaction, but Operation Mahadev has turned that satisfaction into confidence,” he said.
He said the foundation of India’s aspiration to achieve the highest position in the world across sectors rests on the assurance of security.
Technically, the NIA’s Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) proved that the terrorists killed in Operation Mahadev were the same who carried out the brutal Pahalgam attack.
“The forces have shown the world that no matter how terrorists change their tactics and strategies, they cannot harm India and escape,” Shah said
