The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has opened the registration process for 5,346 teacher vacancies across various subjects. Interested candidates can apply on the official website dsssb.delhi.gov.in until November 7, 2025. Selected candidates will receive a salary under Pay Level 7, ranging from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 per month.
Eligibility criteria and selection process
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 percent marks in the subject they wish to apply for and have studied that subject for a minimum of two years. For higher positions, candidates are required to have a master’s degree, a four-year integrated program, B.El.Ed, B.Sc.B.Ed, or B.A.B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution, and must have passed the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE. Selection will be based on a single written examination.

Minimum qualifying marks and relaxation
To ensure qualitative selection and recruit the best talent, DSSSB has set the following minimum qualifying marks for different categories:
* General/EWS: 40%
* OBC (Delhi): 35%
* SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
Ex-servicemen will receive a 5% relaxation in their respective categories, subject to a minimum of 30%. DSSSB reserves the right to prescribe a minimum cutoff mark for any post depending on the availability of candidates. The cutoff marks may be higher based on the candidates’ performance and the number of vacancies in each category.

Candidates must register on the DSSSB portal to obtain their login credentials before applying. The application fee is Rs. 100 for all candidates except women, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disability ( PwBD), and ex-servicemen, who are exempt from the fee. Applicants can log in to the portal, complete the application form, and submit it to successfully register for the posts.
