IPL 2025: Rohit Sharma smashes 50 vs CSK, fans celebrate

Send Push

What a way to get back in form — and that too against a team with as many Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 trophies — 5! Mumbai Indians (MI) batter Rohit Sharma, who had been struggling with scores below 30, finally found his rhythm as he smashed a half-century against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Wankhede Stadium erupted in cheers as the 'Hitman' brought up his first fifty of the season. It's surely a great sign for MI, as the opener — playing as an impact player — had been facing criticism for his poor form. Rohit gently raised his bat, soaking in the applause from the crowd.

Fans celebrate

Seeing the opening batter 'finally' regain form has got his fans breathing a sigh of relief. Many on X (formerly known as Twitter) stated how happy they were with Rohit Sharma looking his best.

One said, "Hitman ROHIT SHARMA is Back. Finally He is Back After a "Rollercoaster" Phase For Team Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025. Expecting More Big Innings From Hitman in Upcoming Matches".
