Sikandar School Nagrota, located in the Nagrota area of Jammu and Kashmir, is one of the prestigious Sainik Schools of the country. Admission to this school is for classes 6 and 9th. To get admission here, one has to pass the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This exam is an objective type (MCQ-based) and is conducted in offline mode.
Age limit to apply
To appear in AISSEE, the age limit of students seeking admission in class 6 should be between 10 to 12 years. At the same time, the age of candidates wishing to take admission in class 9 should be between 13 to 15 years. Now both boys and girls can participate in this exam.
30 students of this school cracked the NDA
Students of Sainik School Nagrota (SNN) located in Jammu and Kashmir have performed brilliantly in the National Defense Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) 2023. According to defense officials, at least 30 students have cleared the NDA/NA written examination conducted by UPSC held on 3 September 2023. Out of the successful students, 9 cadets are from session 2023-24, while 21 cadets are from 2022-23.
