Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has invited applications for the posts of Sub-Inspector (SI) and Platoon Commander. The application process for this has started on August 10. The commission has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 1015 posts, including 896 posts of Sub Inspector (AP), 4 posts of Sub Inspector (AP) Saharia, 25 posts of Sub Inspector (AP) Scheduled Area, 26 posts of Sub Inspector (IB), and 64 posts of Platoon Commander (RAC). Candidates can apply for these posts as per the rules on or before the prescribed last date.
Rajasthan Police SI Salary: How much salary does a Rajasthan Police SI get?
According to media reports, Rajasthan Police Sub Inspector/Platoon Commander will be paid salary as per Pay Matrix Level 11 (Grade Pay Rs 4200). Apart from this, all types of allowances like HRA, Medical, etc., prescribed by the state government are also given.
Rajasthan Police SI Bharti 2025: What is the Rajasthan Police SI Selection Process?
Applicants will be selected for Rajasthan Police Sub-Inspector (SI) posts through written examination, PET, PST, Document Verification, etc. The written examination will be conducted in offline mode in both Hindi and English. 400 multiple-choice questions will be asked in the exam. There will also be a minus marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
Rajasthan Police SI Vacancy 2025: Who can apply?
Candidates applying for these posts should have a graduation degree in any stream from any recognized university. The age of the applicant should be between 20 and 25 years. Women and reserved category candidates have also been given relaxation in the maximum age limit. Age will be calculated from January 1, 2026.
