Alan Shearer believes Viktor Gyokeres still has plenty to work on if he is to become a success in the Premier League.
Gyokeres, who scored a brace during Arsenal's 5-0 win over Leeds United on Saturday, has been lambasted ever since his subpar debut against Manchester United.
But the Sweden international responded in the best way possible by notching two second-half goals at the Emirates Stadium, helping Mikel Arteta's men make it two wins from two.

Criticism arrived in the first half after Gyokeres missed what appeared to be a golden opportunity. With the goal gaping, the former Sporting man fluffed his effort wide, but soon bounced back with aplomb.
Shearer, who still holds the record as the Premier League's all-time leading goalscorer, believes the ex-Coventry City man still has plenty to work on to improve his all-around game.
"There were some good signs but also some bits that need working on, but you get that," began the former Newcastle United forward on Match of the Day.
"He’s still getting used to his teammates and they’re getting used to him. You can’t ask Bukayo Saka not to get past players because he’s brilliant at it, but when you get into those positions, a forward who is used to having balls in the box, sometimes it has to go in rather than back.
"They’ve been playing that way for such a long time now, it’s going to take time. Ninety seconds into the second half, I’m sure the manager has said something. When you’ve got a player that can run like he can, you have to play an early ball; he makes the run and gets his goal, all because of a ball first time.
"It’s great to see him take a penalty with such confidence, it is going to take time for him and the players he’s playing with to know when and how to put the ball in for him. I know what it’s like as a centre forward, you’re desperate for a good start, for him, it's not quite happening last week, getting two goals, he’ll sleep a lot better.
"You want to impress, people talk about transfer fees, what Arsenal have needed for some time, there’s pressure on him, you can do that (try too hard). There are definitely signs there; they have to get used to each other, and it might take time."
