Nagpur: Electrical engineering department of SB Jain Institute of Technology , Management & Research (SBJITMR), under Elan Forum and NSS Cell, organised a blood testing and health camp at Borgaon village near Fetri. The camp was held in collaboration with Lok Kalyan Diagnostic under aegies of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.
More than 50 villagers actively participated and benefited from the initiative.
The camp aimed to provide free health check-ups and raise awareness about medical well-being among the villagers. It focused on preventive healthcare , encouraging participants to monitor their health regularly and adopt healthier lifestyles. Blood testing was conducted to help villagers assess their health status and take necessary precautions.
As part of this community welfare effort, 40 students from all departments actively assisted in organising the camp, guiding villagers, and helping medical professionals during check-ups. The villagers were also provided with medical advice and preventive healthcare tips based on their test results. The initiative was well-received, reinforcing the institution's commitment to rural development and social responsibility.
The event meticulously coordinated by Amit Bhure, Saurabh Singh, Ratnesh Chaudhary, Irfan Javed, Chandrakant Rathore (HoD, electrical engineering) under the guidance of Pankaj Thote, nodal co-ordinator of Unnat Baharat Abhiyan.
The initiative received appreciation from managing trust president Anuj Badjate, CEO Sanjeev Agrawal, CED OS Bihade and, principal SL Badjate.
